Tandem

Skydiving has never been easier to get into! You will receive around 30 minutes of training, introducing you to the equipment, how to exit the aircraft and essential freefall skills. After this you will jump, securely attached, to an experienced tandem instructor who will have completed thousands of jumps.

This is by far the most popular method of introducing novices into the sport, and you are unlikely to forget the thrill of freefall! You will jump from between 10,000 ft and 13,000 ft and, after experiencing around 40-60 seconds of freefall, your instructor will deploy the parachute at 5,500 ft. You will have approximately 5 minutes under canopy, after which you will land gently in front of your friends watching you. If you have chosen to have a video, the expert cameramen will film a custom-made record of your day to show everyone how well you did.

Unlike other skydiving packages, there is no age limit for the tandem, and you do not need to be particularly fit either. Prices depend on your preferred location, date and availability.
